چکیده

In this paper we introduce a new technique for deriving the determining equations of the nonclassical symmetries associated with a nonlinear partial diierential equation system, such that, all the symbolic manipulation programs designated to calculate classical Lie symmetries can also be used for nding nonclassical symmetries, without any adaptation of the program. This algorithm was implemented as the MAPLE routine gendefnc, and uses the MAPLE package DES-OLV (authors Carminati and Vu). The nonlinear system of the determining equations for nonclassical symmetries can now be integrated (interactively) using the MAPLE packages diffgrob2 (author Mans-eld) or RIF (authors Reid and Wittkopf). The two-dimensional semi-geostrophic partial diierential equation system arising from meteorology was considered as an application of this procedure.
